Construction jobs are some of the toughest, both for you and for your two-way radio. You need a no-nonsense radio to handle the job. Your two-way radio needs to:
- be rugged to withstand everything a construction job-site can throw your way
- have knobs & buttons that can be easy to manipulate while wearing gloves
- have loud audio so you can hear even when working at noisy job-sites
We recommend two-way radios that meet military specifications for durability and are resistant to water and dust. You usually need to communicate both indoors and outdoors, so UHF two-way radios are your best choice. 2 watt radios will be fine for smaller job-sites, 4 or 5 watts will be needed for larger.
